The lobby was fine and cozy, perfect for hanging out, and the staff was super quick to help with our needs. We enjoyed the high tea experience, which reminded me of a special occasion, and the rooms were both classic and comfortable.
The bathroom door locked unexpectedly one night.

Great staff, very comfortable rooms (although bathrooms are small by today's standards)
We had to wait quite a bit to retrieve our car form the valet. The entrance to the hotel is very small was very crowded with people departing. The staff tried to do their best.

We enjoyed Afternoon Tea and caught the Holiday Shows event, such a unique experience. The classic rooms were comfy, and the lobby had great vibes. Just a heads up, the hotel's restaurant is busy but the staff is super flexible with orders!
We had a bit of trouble with a toilet issue that took longer to fix than expected. The bathroom door locked unexpectedly one night, a hassle.

it was all good - no complaints. The front desk staff was very helpful and solved my dual booking problem both quickly and cheerfully.

The lobby, with its cozy fireplace seating, was perfect to relax after a long day. I really enjoyed the good high tea experience, which was like a special occasion. Plus, loved the central location with easy access to restaurants and points of interest.

Location
Room, hallways, elevator, lobby was "tired" and needs a refresh. Expensive room versus the experience. We were disappointed versus the $ spent. Bathroom very small, only one sink. Crowded. Toilet flush could be heard in the bedroom and even hallway. One of those very noisy newer toilets. Change out! TV picture quality poor. Parking expensive!. I feel that the reputation and Hotel cost did NOT match up with the experience.

The staff was very nice and it's a historic property; the grill/bar are outstanding.
Room itself is very nice but not "luxury" - no separate shower, shower curtain instead of door; older beds w/not very lux linens; average tvs; furnishings relatively average, size of room average, etc.

The check-in process was smooth, thanks to krystle, who ensured everything was perfect for our arrival. The room was comfortable for our group, and even when we needed extra towels, they promptly delivered them. Such attentive service made a big difference!

The property was well maintained.
They offer a free shuttle if available HOWEVER they let a wedding party have it for three straight hours. Don't offer it to everyone if you let a select few monopolize it

The staff were excellent, valet parking and bell hop was amazing.
The price for two double beds was a little ridiculous.
